Barbados

Barbados lies in the Atlantic Ocean, 300 miles north of Venezuela. It is east of Saint Vincent in the Windward Islands of the Lesser Antilles, making it the easternmost island in the West Indies. The island is 21 miles long, 14 miles at its widest point, and has a total area of 166 sq. miles. It is circled by fine beaches and narrow coastal plains and surrounded by coral reefs. The climate is tropical, and the average temperature is about 79 F. The rainy season prevails June through December, and hurricanes occasionally strike the island. Barbados lacks mineral resources, and nearly all the natural vegetation has been cleared for cultivation. Barbados has a population of 300,000 people. The Island is most renowned for its laidback life style and the fabulous holiday resorts. Cricket is also a religion on the island and some of the legendary islanders of the past are still a part daily life, roundabouts, roads, buildings and stands inside grounds are affectionately named after them.
Antigua
Antigua is part of Leeward Islands located South East of Puerto Rico in the Caribbean Sea. The capital is St John. Total population is little over 66,000.

Like every island, Antigua boast many beaches, 365, one for every day of the year. The islands are a Yatchman's Mecca. Sailing week is late April to early May annually. The regatta is considered no1 in the Caribbean and is among the top 10 in the world. Scuba diving operations exists all around the island for beginners as well as advanced divers.
